The BMW M2 Competition - Schirmer GT mod for Assetto Corsa revamps the base model of the BMW M2 Competition and turns it into a full-blown GT racer. Stripped out and tuned up by T. Schirmer, the mod gives players a feel of a track-ready piece that can be legally driven on roads.
Once integrated into the game, players will have access to a car with around 500 horsepower produced by a redesigned S55 3.0-liter Twin-Turbo engine from the M3/M4 series. Additionally, the car possesses a maximum speed of around 280 km/h (or 174 mph), largely thanks to the upgraded aerodynamics and reduced weight of roughly 1520 kg.
The gearbox is an enhanced seven-speed dual-clutch type, modified for race-like responsiveness. The car mods feature adjustable suspensions for better handling and performance. Able to produce about 550 Nm of torque, the Schirmer GT variant of the M2 Competition promises high-speed, corner-hugging thrill rides on any track it graces.
