Description
The 1987 Chevrolet Opala Comodoro 4-door represents the golden era of the classic Brazilian executive sedan. Slotting just below the top-tier Diplomata trim, it combined heavy-duty rear-wheel-drive mechanics with upscale comfort, offering a smooth ride for families and executives.

Launched initially in 1975 to replace the Gran Luxo line, the Comodoro nameplate became synonymous with mid-to-high luxury within the Chevrolet Opala lineage. The 1987 model sits right at the end of the classic rectilinear 1980s body style, just before the 1988 facelift.
