Description
The Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo is a racing car developed by Ferrari for the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the marque’s one-make racing championship dedicated to Ferrari’s sporting clients. Unveiled in 2019 at Mugello, it represents the evolution of the 488 Challenge, with significant improvements mainly focused on aerodynamics, tyres, braking and electronics.

The Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is Ferrari’s one-make racing championship, established in 1993. The philosophy of the Challenge is simple: the same car, the same regulations and competition between Ferrari drivers. This approach reduces the influence of technical differences between cars and places greater emphasis on the driver’s talent, strategy and preparation.

Throughout its history, the championship has featured several generations of Ferrari racing cars, from the 348 Challenge to the 488 Challenge Evo and, more recently, the 296 Challenge. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into several international and regional series, including Europe, North America, the UK, Japan and Australasia, culminating in the Ferrari Finali Mondiali.
