Power/Torque Curve
The slang phrase "deuce coupe" refers to the 1932 Ford coupe, taken from the year of manufacturing. In the 1940s, the '32 Ford was considered a perfect hot rod. Rodders would remove weight from this easily accessible automobile and boost the engine. They came in two body styles: the more frequent 5- window and the rarer suicide door 3- window. Following World War II, the legendary status of the 1932- vintage Ford in hot rodding prompted The Beach Boys to not only create the song "Little Deuce Coupe" in 1963, but also name one of their albums after the automobile.
