- Added missing pedals animations
Description
This is a proposal for the fifth generation of the best compact sports car ever made, the Mazda MX‑5 NE, continuing the legacy established by the ND, refining its formula while adapting to the demands of the modern market.
Features
- NE 1.5: base version with an evolved SKYACTIV‑G 1.5L engine delivering 143 hp
- NE 2.0: bigger wheels and tyres, power increase, with an evolved SKYACTIV‑G 2.0L engine producing 197 hp
- NE R-EV: electric powertrain with a rotary electricity generator (derived from the MX-30), an 18 kWh battery, and a 170 hp electric motor
- 2.0 Supercharged version
- Subtle revision to the front end to align with Mazda’s current design language
- Integrated subtle ducktail in the trunk
- Revised dimensions (approximately 135 mm longer, 15 mm wider, and a 75 mm longer wheelbase)
- Updated suspension tuning to account for changes in mass, dimensions, and weight distribution
Although the NE has grown slightly compared to the ND, extensive development has kept weight gain to just 15 kg. Testing was done in CSP v0.2.11, with no apparent incompatibility.
