The Nissan Skyline R34, the tenth generation, was introduced in January 1999. Like the R32 and R33, it excelled on the racetrack. The 2002 Nismo Skyline GTR JGTC, formerly known as the All- Japan Grand Touring Car Championship or JGTC, was a very entertaining and successful race in the Super GT series. The Nismo R34, which had a twin turbo VQ30DETT engine, was a famous JGTC series winner.
