With the Porsche 911 GT3 R, Porsche customer teams all around the globe rush from one triumph to the next. Last year, the racer from the 997 model generation won again in the Dubai 24 Hour Race. The front axle track was enlarged by 60 mm, while the rear axle track increased by 55 mm. The front rims are now twelve inches wide, up from 10.9 inches. The wheelbase of the new 911 GT3 R has increased by 10 mm. The very efficient four- litre six- cylinder flat engine produces around 368 kW (500 horsepower). The Porsche six- speed sequential dog- type gearbox with pneumatic shift mechanism is controlled by shift paddles on the steering wheel. This innovative solution enables rapid and smooth gear changes, resulting in increased operating dependability and longevity.
