The latest version of the 911 debuted in model year 1989, coinciding with the discontinuation of the G series. The 911 Carrera 4 type 964 had 85 percent new parts, yet it preserved the iconic form of its predecessor. It was offered in Coupé, Targa, and Cabriolet body styles.
This one, in particular, has been significantly upgraded, with a wider and lighter body, improved brakes, and a long list of engine changes pushing the output beyond 500 horsepower.
