The Volkswagen Polo 9N TDII Assetto Corsa mod brings the classic compact car, the 9N series Volkswagen Polo, to the racing simulator. The turbo diesel injection (TDII) version of the car is utilized here and gives a special driving experience that's unlike cars powered by gasoline. Marketed as an economical car par excellence and a personification of reliability, the actual Polo 9N TDII features a 1.4 liter straight four cylinder engine producing about 75 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque at the front wheels. It goes from 0-60 mph in about 12.5 seconds and has a top speed of about 170 km/h. The mod manages well in capturing the spirit of the Polo 9N TDII and porting it over to Assetto Corsa by giving a very high attention to detail with realistic handling, quality graphics and sounds and good sound modeling. It's perfect for those who would love racing on compact cars or those preferring a less aggressive driving experience on the simulator.
