The VW Brasilia D3 1600 mod for Assetto Corsa is a mod which lets you drive around in a VW Brasilia. The car model, most people associate with being made in Brazil, has an air cooled 1600cc engine. The "'D3'" is the version of the car and this car is from the third series. Brasilia cars were built to be durable and long lasting, they were advertised as having a roomy interior compared to the size of the vehicle. It offers players a real driving experience, with the same handling and controllability as the real car. Real car power ratings are quite different, but a Brasilia with a 1600cc engine can accelerate 50-60 horsepower and reach top speeds of 140 km/h. The car was well known for having reasonable torque for such a small engine, which gave it fairly good acceleration in city traffic.
