If you want realistic smoke, I suggest obtaining the Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch. Every other smoke mod pales in comparison. However, if you want something simple for the basic Assetto Corsa, I suppose my patch would suffice.
Note: This mod works well with AC 1.12.6 and will most likely function in future versions as well. Kunos does not seem to modify smoke.
