Assetto Corsa Grand Prix Karting at Albert Park in Melbourne, Australia.
Albert Park is a street circuit that resembles a permanent circuit due to its unique curve combinations and flow. This unique flow may also be seen in the Grand Prix Karting edition.
Grand Prix Kart Racing
Grand Prix Karting circuits are F1 tracks with the traditional F1 layout but the size, appearance, and feel of real-world kart tracks. There are no large runoff areas, but contemporary broad kerbs, a pit on the outside of the track rather than the infield, and few grandstands, but a pitbuilding that also serves as one. These tracks were created from the ground up, rather than being scaled versions of previous ones. Not laser scanned (since they are fictitious circuits), but hand-made, which proved difficult with certain tracks that had a lot of elevation and topography around them.
The GPK layouts were initially designed as kart tracks for rFactor, but were specifically modified for Formula Student and translated to Assetto Corsa.
