2025 Update, version 3.31:
In 2025, all GPK tracks will be updated again. This time, all courses will have a Kunos camera facing spectators in the specialized GPK design. Other minor adjustments and bug fixes will be made.
FSGP 2025:
During every Formula 1 weekend in 2025, we will have an FSGP race in the MAD Formula MFT02 Hybrid on the GPK version of the Formula 1 track. The competition begins on Saturday, March 15. Simracing.gp contains information on the Formula Student community.
The Track:
The Red Bull Ring is a classic on the current F1 calendar. It was built in 1969 as the Österreichring. In 1995, it was shortened and renamed the A1 Ring. The AI ring was closed in 2003, but reopened in 2011 as the Red Bull Ring. The course boasts significant elevation, a long straight, and just a few bends.
