The Daytona 1970s RoadCourse mod is a accurate, historically, in great detail,  racing track for the Assetto Corsa game. This track is a replica of the actual Daytona International  Speedway during the 1970's time. One of the most famous racing circuits in the world,  Daytona International Speedway is situated in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The mod is the road course version, as  opposed to the modern incarnation based around the oval for NASCAR. In the 1970s variation,  the track layout also incorporated a road course portion in the infield, which provided a significantly longer, more  intricate and demanding course for drivers. The circuit was used for example for the Rolex 24 hour race.

To keep with the nostalgic authenticity of the track, the model has a number of features from the  original including; the billboards, pit layout, barriers, scenery and more. The design and accuracy  of the track mod is stunning, and it really does transport players back to the heyday of  motorsport. It is a rare opportunity to race on the high banking of the Daytona speedway along with  the smaller and slower twists and turns of the infield section.
