The raceway is located in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, along its bypass road and next to another race track, High Mountain. It has been designed by the famous race track architect Hermann Tilke. In 2010, the raceway was rebuilt and renamed to KAZANRING CANYON, ready to host all-Russian and world championships. As at Moscow Raceway, the racetrack goes counterclockwise, with a length of 3476 m and up to 28 m elevation.
The track was recreated with special precision, specifically focusing on the elevation change. It has been used during mass races on SMP Racing simulators and for various championships and finals.
