The Assetto Corsa Moscow Raceway mod is the realistic simulation of the real-life motor racing circuit with the same name in the vicinity of the Russian capital city of Moscow. The racing circuit was built to international standards to begin with, and it hosts international racing events like the FIA Formula 2 and the World Superbike Championship. In the mod for the game Assetto Corsa, the Moscow Raceway is recreated with realistic scenery, layout, and landmarks. It's a challenging drive with its mix of fast straights, the hairpin corners, and the deceptive mix of turns and twists. There are different layout configurations for the Moscow Raceway mod, including the Grand Prix layout measuring around 3.95 kilometers. It's this level of detail and realism that makes for realistic and immersive driving in the game. Don't forget that, like with every track, you need to practice to become proficient in it, learn the braking points, and the ideal lines for achieving the fastest lap times.


The circuit spans 4070 meters (max. configuration), with widths varying from 12 to 21 meters. The start-finish straight line width is 15 metres, while the elevation difference is 22 metres. The circuit (Grand Prix configuration) has 15 turns: 9 left and 6 right. The longest portion is 873 meters. The maximum design speed for Formula One vehicles is around 311 km/h. The racetrack runs counterclockwise, which is unusual for circuit racing.


The proposal presentation and the laying of the circuit's foundation stone occurred on October 1, 2008, however building was quickly halted owing to the crisis. It commenced in June 2010, and by the summer of 2011, the project was completed.
