Fully updated and optimized the mod for BeamNG version 0.40.x
Added support for the new BeamNG dummy system – the driver now appears inside the vehicle
Added the ability to switch between seats.
This mod brings a detailed and realistic BMW E46 to BeamNG.drive with high quality modeling and realistic driving behavior.
High quality custom JBeam with realistic crash physics and handling
Proper PBR materials for realistic reflections and surfaces
Detailed and high quality interior with realistic parts
Clean and high quality exterior model with accurate details
The interior includes multiple interactive features, such as:
Functional ignition button
Functional hazard lights button
Working headlights and fog lights controls
Functional drive mode / ESC button
Interactive radio controls (ability to play songs)
Good and enjoyable engine sounds that match the character of the car, although they still need some work to be perfect.

Different bumpers and styling parts

Imma be honest just bought this 3 minutes ago and it feels very optimized plus the lights on the cars are quite nice looking and was hoping for at least some even better baked lighting.. best mod I've ever played with.

Update on the E83 project proposal: Regarding specifications, the ideal configuration would be the 2008 facelift (LCI) model, featuring the factory M-Sport package and finished in classic Titanium Silver (Titanosilber). Mechanically, the car should be equipped with the 2.0d N47 diesel engine (inline-4, 177 hp), notable for the unusual placement of its timing chain (located at the rear of the engine, near the transmission). Incorporating this powertrain—along with an accurate 3D model of the engine bay and the N47 engine itself—would ensure exceptional realism in BeamNG.
Dude, why don't you merge it with the coupe version? It would be nice to see a convertible version there!
@Dieyy Meaning if i purchase this mod today, there may be a future update where i get the coupe versions, or will a separate mod will be released?
@Antonkrd1 Yeah, I thought about doing this, but from what I’ve looked into, the file would simply be too large and it could start causing FPS drops. And yes, the convertible body style will be added in future updates.
