Realistic ZF8 Transmission for F90 M5 + LCI
This mod updates the F90 M5's transmission to the correct ZF 8HP75 8-speed automatic, replacing the inaccurate dual-clutch setup from before. Expect smoother, more realistic shifting behavior that matches the real-world car, along with improved drivability and launch characteristics.

This mod updates the F90 M5's transmission to the correct ZF 8HP75 8-speed automatic, replacing the inaccurate dual-clutch setup from before. Expect smoother, more realistic shifting behavior that matches the real-world car, along with improved drivability and launch characteristics.
Changes included in this update:
- Replaced the DCT with the correct ZF 8-speed torque converter with working launch control (make sure the brakes are warm!)
- Updated engine sound and refined pops & bangs for a more natural exhaust note
- Simplified the vehicle selection for easier navigation
- Removed less-used/niche features of the mod in favour of performance
- Improvements to the infotainment screen
- Standardized vehicle thumbnails to match the clean BeamNG default style
