In 1992, Hirochi released the next-generation Talent kei truck to compete with other kei trucks. Unlike most kei trucks, the Talent featured a rear-mounted engine.
It used a 4-cylinder engine with a supercharger to deliver higher performance compared to rival models.
There was also an Actif model designed in the classic style popular in Japan. The Talent received a facelift in 1996 and was produced until 2002.
