HYUNDAI IONIQ 5 N

The first electric vehicle with gear shifting capability.

Overview

This mod is an all-electric high-performance vehicle, developed based on Hyundai's official technical datathe IONIQ 5 N. The work is not limited to a visual conversion; motor power, battery capacity, drive modes, brake system, and gauge behavior have all been calibrated to match the real vehicle.

Key Features

*Simulated 8-Speed Gearbox (e-Shift)*

The simulated gear-shift experience that is the signature feature of the real IONIQ 5 N has also been implemented in the mod. The vehicle automatically shifts between eight virtual gears based on speed, with a brief, realistic torque interruption felt on every shift.

*N Active Sound+ (Simulated Motor Sound)*

To counter the electric motor's low noise level, a dynamic performance sound that responds to throttle input and virtual RPM has been added.

*Six Drive Modes (DSE — Driving & Safety Electronics)*

Featured mode *N*: performance-focused, with aggressive torque distribution. There are six modes in total, including Normal, Eco, ESC & TC Off, and Drift Mode. In addition, electronic components within the DSE system such as ABS, stability control (ESC), and traction control (TC) are offered as independent, separately selectable and configurable modules. Alongside the standard DSE package, a completely separate "Race Electronics" package is also available as an option.

*Battery, Range, and Speed Settings*

The vehicle is not limited to a single battery size; you can choose between three different battery packs: 50 kWh, 75 kWh, and 84 kWh. There is also flexibility on the speed limiter side: factory setting, a 260 km/h limit, or fully unrestricted (limiter delete) options are available. The gauge cluster can be personalized accordingly, with four different top-speed scales (180–320 km/h) and three different RPM scales.

*Tiered Brake System*

Five different brake options are available, ranging from stock up through S-Sport, R-Sport, Race, and Rally tiers, each genuinely differentiated in performance.

*Chassis and Driving Dynamics Options*

Chassis components beyond the brakes are also offered in tiers:

- Suspension: 4 tiers (Stock, E, Sport, Rally)

- Front sway bar: 3 tiers (Stock, Sport, Race)

- Rear sway bar: 4 tiers (Stock, Sport, R-Sport, Race)

- Steering ratio: 2 options (Stock, Rally Quick-Ratio)

- Final drive (electric motor): 2 options (Fixed 7.94:1, Adjustable Race)

- Tire compound: 4 different brands/compounds (Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 3, Kumho Ecsta PS91, Nankang AllTerrain FT7, Toyo Proxes TQ), independently selectable front and rear

*Bolt-On Additional Parts*

The vehicle is supported by performance and appearance parts that can be selected and fitted independently of the base body.
