Compatibility update from version 1.3.1 to 1.3.2
This release adds BeamNG.drive 0.40 support while retaining 0.39 compatibility, with sharper flame rendering around vehicle edges and improved display-change recovery.
What's New
- Added BeamNG.drive 0.40 support while retaining 0.39 compatibility.
- Reduced pixelated edges where the vehicle body blocks the flames.
- Improved DirectX 12 recovery when switching between fullscreen, borderless and windowed modes.
- Improved recovery after resolution changes, window resizing and switching between apps.
Existing activations and saved vehicle configurations remain intact.
HoLaS Dynamic Backfire is a mod that adds reactive, real-time exhaust flames to BeamNG.drive.
The flames respond directly to engine behavior. including revving, throttle lift, overrun, and gear changes. rather than playing a fixed animation.

Dense, vivid fireballs designed for night drives, cinematics, screenshots, and car meets.
Realistic
Sharper, faster combustion designed to produce more believable throttle-lift and overrun effects.
