EchoingTide Universal Drivetrain (ETUD) is a runtime drivetrain conversion system for BeamNG.drive that allows you to change how a vehicle sends power to the ground without opening Vehicle Configuration.

Features
- Universal drivetrain switching for official BeamNG vehicles.
- Dynamic adaptation: Switch between Factory, FWD, RWD, AWD, 4WD High, and 4WD Low on the fly.
- Topology-aware matching: Adapts to various architectures (transverse FWD, traditional RWD, transfer cases, etc.) rather than assuming a uniform structure.
- Protective safeguards: Refuses operations that cannot be performed safely to prevent broken drivetrains.
- Instant Boost (Alt+E): Provides an immediate forward velocity boost.
- Forward Catapult (Alt+End): Launches the vehicle forward at extreme speeds after a short delay.
- Sky Yeet (Alt+PgUp): Launches the vehicle vertically into the sky.
- Dunekicker / Big Shoes Mode (Alt+Del): Replaces supported road tires with oversized off-road tires.

Compatibility
Tested and developed against 986 official BeamNG.drive factory configurations across 40 vehicle families. It is built and tested for BeamNG.drive v0.39.4.



Known Notes / Limitations
- FWD operation on some Drag configurations may produce moderate front-wheel wobble.
- Some specialty vehicles may refuse conversion if a compatible hardware path is unavailable.
- Chaos features are intentionally ridiculous and do not preserve normal vehicle behavior.
- ETUD does not make the vehicle invincible.











Diagnostics
If ETUD behaves unexpectedly, press Alt+8 before resetting the vehicle. When reporting a problem, please include the vehicle, configuration, ETUD mode selected, and the physical result.

Installation Instructions
If installing from the BeamNG Repository, use the normal Subscribe / Install option.
For manual installation, place the ETUD ZIP directly into your BeamNG.drive mods folder. Do not extract the ZIP.
