Changelog
Six race modes: Road Rage, Gimmick Race, Eliminator and more!: Missions are now organized by race mode, with six modes to choose from on the big map.

⚠ Before you update:
- Mod settings are reset. The settings file moved, so set your options and custom vehicle groups again.
- Stars, results and leaderboards start fresh. Records from v0.5.x are not shown anymore.
- Gimmick Race requires the Gimmick Pad Mod.

Description
Extra AI Race Mission extends the official AI Race mission with arcade racing game style gameplay, inspired by Thrill Drive and Burnout 3.

Features
- Six race modes: Race, Time Attack, Eliminator, Road Rage, Gimmick Race, and Thrill Drive.
- Arcade style HUD.
- Restart system that brings you and the AI racers back to the last checkpoint.
- Road Rage Controls: Boost (Space/RB), Aftertouch (Arrow keys/Left stick + Space/RB), and Payback (B/A).
- UI Apps: Race HUD, Speedometer, and Settings app.
- Support for multiple maps including West Coast USA, East Coast USA, Italy, Utah, Industrial, and more.
- Support for English and Japanese languages.

How to Use
Start Freeroam on a supported map. Find the mission of the race mode you want to play on the big map and start it.

Adjust the mission settings before starting:
- Course: Only the courses that support the race mode of the mission are listed.
- Laps / Reverse: Available on courses that support them.
- Rival Count / Rival Car Group: Number of rivals and their vehicle group.
- Traffic Count / Traffic Type: Amount of traffic and its vehicle mix.
- Watching AI Mode: Sit back and watch the AI race.
- Time Of Day: Time of day during the race.

Tips
Crashed or stuck? Recover your vehicle to restart from the last checkpoint. In Thrill Drive, you restart right where you crashed. Recover again during the countdown after a restart to retry the whole challenge.

The Extra AI Race: Settings app (Utility category) lets you toggle HUD elements, tune the rival AI and edit custom rival / traffic vehicle groups.

NOTE:
This MOD is available only in Freeroam mode. (NOT Scenarios and Careers). The mission marker will not be displayed if you disable the challenge marker option. See [Options] -> [GAMEPLAY] -> [Freeroam Gameplay Markers].
