This is an activity update. The mod is being updated, and an expansion of the gameplay area is planned for this month. The next update will include:
- Texture updates
- Gameplay area expansion
- Map optimization
No one has finished porting the GTA V map for BeamNG Drive, but I've been working long and hard on porting the Los Santos! This map has minor flaws, but you will get positive emotions from fast driving around the city and nostalgia!
I recommend running with Vulkan, performance can increase by 2-3 times.

no buy the city is realy small
this is not bad at all i can see this as a playable map for servers once completed i paid the $7 it is a bit high for a beta id say $2-3 bucks is fair, a final version of this i would pay the $7 best gta 5 map mod for beamng i seen sofar

5 maybe 10 percent of this map looks semi acceptable at very best and the rest is unusable and looks unrecognizable. Very happy that someone is putting in the effort, but this map needs probably 100 plus additional work before anyone should be taking payments for it. matter of facts its at such a poor state, that I would consider this a scam. If this map was finished and perfect, I'd pay 20 plus for it, but this is pathetic at this state. I'm not saying the creator is a pos(but kind of is for charging for this) or that they are not good at modding, but simply just that this is not in a releasable state and it needs much MUCH more work before releasing nevermind charging for. I truly beleive that this could end up being the number 1 master piece in the beamng mod community, but right now should just be removed as it's ruining the name of this modder and is ruining a lot of the hype for this map.
I seriously see mods that are "Pay to download" I F**KING HATE THOSE MODS. ALL MODS ON MODLAND NEED TO BE PAID TO DOWNLOAD I F**KING HATE PAYING.

Great port! Thank you for the excellent map. I haven't noticed any bugs, and the FPS is impressive too—I'm getting 75-80 FPS on my RTX 3070.

to anyone who is wanting to purchase this. the map is NOT done at all. only certain parts, most roads are just blocks of color. i wouldn't buy this yet until it is semi finished. i rate it at its current state a 2/10 it has really good potential.

@hrb93 I disagree, a significant part of Los Santos has been ported, and I like the quality of the map. Yes, there are some flaws, but the author is consistently releasing updates, and at the very least, the FPS keeps improving
Selling assets from other games is piracy (As in the actual crime), but I'm not going to report this, so I can get it when/if it leaks.
@Driver_1 This is mostly built from the ground up though... and no one really cares since it brings more positive attention towards the game and suing internationally costs A LOT of money which is not worthwhile to take down a small project that the community appreciates..
Not a bad port to be fair, sure yes in some areas it feels a bit rough but its a port of a map we have all wanted? Someone is actively working on it to, optimization takes time especially for something like this. I do have decent hardware so it runs great for me but hoping & looking forward to getting more of the map filled in if its possible or cut off a bunch and focus on the city.
Crashes the game during loading every time. With/without Vulcan, and with no other mods activated. Doesn't even spawn in, crashes on the loading screen.
you could also be low on ram, It uses up around 16gb for me
@tigerbazooka its is likely that you have a weak PC or installed the map incorrectally, I have an rtx 2060 and an intel core i7 9700 which isn't a high end PC by any means and it runs just find on normal settings

The map has good quality and great potential. I hope for the release of updates and the GTA 4 map!
