Welcome to the Methow Valley!
This map is a roughly 17 x 17 km recreation of the Methow Valley in north-central Washington, built using real-world terrain data and inspired by one of the most beautiful areas of the Pacific Northwest.
Features
- Washington State Highway 20 running from the northwest corner along the Methow river.
- Inclusion of Winthrop and Twisp.
- Countless gravel and dirt roads branching into the vast surrounding backcountry.
- Realistic environment with winding mountain roads, steep terrain, open valleys, and dense forests.
DISCLAIMER:
The map is still very early in development, and a lot will change as work continues. Roads, vegetation, terrain materials, scenery, structures, optimization, and smaller details are all still being developed and refined. Buildings are mainly placeholders; the initial focus is to get the driving feel right.
