It features a complex system of elevated and underground routes, including the Inner Circular Route (C1) and Central Circular Route (C2), which connect major districts, highways, and key locations like Tokyo Station, the Rainbow Bridge, and Haneda Airport. While it is a critical part of Tokyo's transportation infrastructure, the expressway is notorious for heavy traffic during peak hours. Operating on a toll system, it serves commuters, delivery vehicles, and travelers, but its intricate interchanges and dense traffic can make navigation challenging. Despite these issues, the Shutoku Expressway remains indispensable for keeping Tokyo's vast urban area connected.

Keeps crashing on launch of the map
