GodHand Remastered is finally here. This isn’t just an update to the old GodHand, it’s a new mod based on the same idea. Every power, every effect and the whole interface were made again from zero.

You get god powers in BeamNG.drive. A giant glowing Hand comes down from the sky to smash, grab and crush cars. Lightning jumps from car to car, meteors fall, a fire phoenix flies over the map, a volcano bursts out of the ground, black holes swallow traffic and time stops. Aim with the mouse, click and watch.

What’s new

• 30 powers in 5 groups: Hand, Sky, Void, Elements and Transmute. Version 1.4 had 48 powers, but a lot of them were almost the same (four kinds of tornado, three kinds of black hole). I merged them into 30 different powers and made every one of them from scratch

• The Hand: a giant glowing hand that smashes, grabs, flicks, crushes, sweeps and presses cars. It’s gold by default, or you can make it Void violet, Frost, Ember or Jade

• Completely new visuals: real 3D effects with glowing animated materials, new particles, dynamic lights, rune circles, craters, scorch marks and cracks in the ground, camera shake, a bit of slow motion on big hits, screen flashes and all new sounds

• Power wheel: hold Alt+C, pick a power with the mouse, aim at the ground or at a car (a ring on the ground shows where and how big), left click to cast, mouse wheel to change the size. Alt+B stops everything

• Settings in their own tab in Modslab Hub, if you have it. Without the hub everything runs on default settings

• Better physics: forces act on the whole car, several powers can hit the same car at once, and everything works properly on BeamNG.drive 0.39

Free - 17 powers

Hand

• Smite - a giant fist falls from the sky where you aim. Cars under it get crushed, the rest get thrown away

Sky

• Lightning - a bolt hits the car you aim at, then jumps to the cars around it and sets them on fire

• Storm - a black storm cloud with rain, thunder and lightning strike after strike

• Meteor Shower - burning rocks fall on the area, each one leaves a crater

• Tornado - touches down where you aim, follows your cursor, sucks cars up and throws them out

Void

• Black Hole - pulls every car around it in, crushes whatever reaches the center, then collapses in a blast

• Nova - light gathers into a star, then explodes and blows every car away

• Zero-G - a dome with no gravity. Cars float up, slowly spin in the air, then fall

• Orbit - cars around the spot get lifted onto a ring of light, spun around it and then thrown off

• Launch - a pillar of light shoots every car on it straight into the sky

Elements

• Time Stop - time stops for everything except you. Cars freeze even in the air and continue when it ends

• Cryo - frost spreads out from the spot and freezes every car in ice, then the ice shatters

• Inferno - a ring of fire rolls outward with a fire tornado in the middle

• Earthquake - the ground cracks and shakes, rock slabs rise up and cars get tossed around

Transmute

• Jelly - every car in the area turns into wobbly jelly for a few seconds

• Snap - snap your fingers and half of the cars around you turn to dust (Alt+B brings them back)

• Aegis - a golden shield around your car that pushes every other car away

Pro - all 30 powers

Everything from Free, plus 13 more:

Hand

• Grab - the Hand grabs the car you aim at and carries it after your cursor. Click again to throw it

• Flick - a giant finger flicks the car you aim at and sends it flying and tumbling

• Crush - two giant palms clap together on the car and squash it flat

• Sweep - a giant palm sweeps across the area and knocks away every car it hits

• Press - a huge palm comes down on the area and presses every car under it flat

Sky

• Meteor - one huge burning meteor, the biggest blast in the mod. The rock stays in the crater and slowly cools down

• Sun Lance - a sun beam from orbit that follows your cursor and burns a molten trail through everything

• Phoenix - a fire phoenix dives from the sky, follows your cursor, sets everything on fire and then explodes into embers

Elements

• Time Bubble - a sphere where time runs slow. Everything inside moves, falls and crashes in slow motion

• Volcano - a volcano bursts out of the ground: ash, lava bombs, lava rivers, and cars thrown and set on fire

Transmute

• Midas - a golden wave turns every car it touches into heavy shiny gold for a while

• Portals - one click for the entrance, one for the exit. Drive into one and come out of the other

• Crystal Bloom - giant crystals burst out of the ground in a spiral, throw cars around, then shatter into light

Both versions are the same 2.0.0.0 with the same visuals, power wheel and settings. Pro just has all 30 powers, in Free the other 13 are shown on the wheel as Pro.

Like I promised with 1.4, the old Pro powers are free now. Earthquake is in Free, and Hurricane, Roaming Tornado, Gale, Freeze Beam, Implosion and Pulse Repeater are now part of the free Tornado, Cryo, Black Hole and Nova.

How to play

• Hold Alt+C to open the power wheel, time almost stops. Point at a group, then at a power, and let go of Alt+C (or tap Alt+C and click a power)

• A ring on the ground shows where the power will land and how big it is. Use the mouse wheel to change the size

• Left click (or Alt+V) to cast. Grab and Portals need a second click: to throw the car or place the exit

• Alt+B stops all powers and brings back the cars that Snap took. If nothing is running, it exits aim mode

• Your own car is safe by default. Turn on “Powers hit my car too” in the settings if you want to be part of the chaos

• You can change the keys in Options > Controls (search for GodHand)
