TA Trailer & Prop Expansion (Beta)

A lightweight expansion mod that adds new configurations, parts, and heavy-duty options to the game's vanilla semi-trailers, designed for greater versatility and challenging hauls.

Core Features & Additions:

• Extended Axle Configurations:

  • Flatbed Trailer: Adds a heavy-duty 4-axle bogie.

  • Dry Van Trailer: Adds a quad bogie setup.

  • Tiltdeck Trailers: New extra axle and suspension options for increased stability and load capacity.

• New Pre-Made Heavy Loads: Includes several pre-configured loads for the 53ft Flatbed, ranging from 32 to 46 tons. The heaviest configuration totals 118,000 lbs (trailer + load), exceeding the weight of the new dump truck.

• New Trailer Types:

  • Lore-Friendly Cargo Trailer: An extended and widened trailer designed for transporting vehicles. (Future updates will add cargo boxes for career mode functionality.)

  • 3-Axle Dolly: A new dolly unit for complex rig setups.

• Focus: This mod is focused on expanding existing vanilla trailers with new parts and configurations, not creating entirely new trailer models.

Beta Status & Known Issue:
This is a Work-in-Progress (WIP) Beta release.

• Known Bug: The Triple Bogie Dolly has an improper coupler node location. As a temporary fix, select the "Sliding Fifth Wheel" option from the parts selector when using it.

• Bug Reports: Please report any issues in the dedicated forum discussion thread, not in the mod reviews.

Future Plans:
The mod will continue to be developed with a focus on modifications and additions for vanilla trailers. Developer is open to community suggestions for future content.
