4.0.2:
Vehicle repair
Vehicle repair
- Adds damage-based repair at physical gas stations while preserving the active shift.
- Adds the same repair workflow to Magic Fuel.
- Keeps repair paid in Realistic Mode and free outside it.
- Replaces the crash-prone vehicle reload with BeamNG 0.39's in-place sandbox repair path, then restores the previous fuel or battery level.
- Prevents refueling and repair from running simultaneously.
- Clears parking fault states that could leave AI Driver unavailable until a reset.
- Manual disable now releases AI, brake, parking, and temporary gearbox control immediately.
- Route completion and route-ending events still stop safely and select Park, or Neutral plus parking brake for a manual gearbox.
- Adds a timeout for native route-planner jobs that never return.
- Restores the player's original Arcade/Realistic gearbox behavior after AI control.
- Adds complete Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR) UI and Fleet localization.
- Restores the native minimap occlusion masks so full-mode trip widgets stay above the map.
- Clears the shared full-mode minimap texture every frame as a mitigation for BeamNG 0.39 dirty-region artifacts.
- Refreshes Connected Phone asset revision 402 to avoid mixed cached UI files.
- Target game version: BeamNG.drive 0.39.
- Existing settings, profiles, progress, histories, route cache, Fleet data, and LAN identity remain compatible with 4.0.1.
- A white rectangle may still flash around the full-mode navigation arrow while dynamic minimap zoom changes on BeamNG 0.39.x. This release includes a mitigation, but does not claim the renderer issue as fully fixed. Static zoom and minimized mode are not affected in the reported reproduction; dedicated diagnostics are planned.
- Issue #3, the intermittent invisible vehicle after changing vehicles during a shift, is not claimed as fixed because it was not reproduced reliably enough for a validated targeted change.
Description
Universal taxi mode for all maps with an in-game mobile app.
Features
- Passenger trips and cargo delivery
- Mobile navigation with ETA, route progress, and speed limit info
- Realistic refueling and charging using an in-game wallet
- Persistent driver profile, reviews, and history
- Smartphone with online and offline modes
- Dynamic passenger moods and emojis
- Fare calculation, fines, ratings, and bonuses
- Physical cargo mass affecting acceleration, braking, and handling
- Experimental access to the live app from a real phone via local network
Job Types
Dispatch forms a mixed pool of 10–12 available orders. The passenger/delivery ratio can be adjusted in the settings.
- Standard trips: Balanced passenger work with pickup point, destination, ETA, and estimated fare.
- Urgent requests: Tighter deadlines for extra pay. If the timer expires, only the urgent bonus is lost.
- Trips with stops: Longer routes with two intermediate roadside points. Requires staying stationary for 10 seconds at each stop.
- Cargo delivery: Long-distance delivery with physical cargo mass, weight bonuses, and collision damage.
Cargo Delivery Details
Delivery provides long-distance work without a passenger and carries physical consequences for the chosen package.
- Delivery routes range from 2 to 25 kilometers.
- Cargo weighs between 2 and 250 kilograms.
- Package mass is physically added to the active vehicle, affecting BeamNG physics.
- Weight bonuses increase gradually above 15 kg, up to +150% at 250 kg.
- Confirmed collisions can add 1–35% damage to the package, proportionally reducing the payout and rating.
Passenger Personalities
Each passenger has a randomly generated name and a coherent mood (happy, sad, excited, sleepy, dreamy, or grumpy).
Mood Mechanics:
- Improvement: Smooth driving gradually improves the mood.
- Decrease: Late pickup, speeding, collisions, sharp maneuvers, and missed objectives lower the mood.
- Impact on Fines: At 100%, there is a 70% chance a fine will be ignored. Below 50%, fines become increasingly strict. At 0%, fines can reach double the normal value.
Critical Dissatisfaction:
Severe dissatisfaction can trigger an immediate stop where the vehicle brakes, controls are locked, the passenger exits, and the trip remains unpaid. This results in a rating loss between 10% and 45%.
