UKRAINE LICENSE PLATE PACK BETA by Zvax

This mod adds a fully custom and realistic Ukrainian license plate system for BeamNG.drive.
It replaces generic or incorrect plate generation with accurate regional formats, making AI traffic, scenarios and roleplay setups feel much closer to real life.

The focus is not on adding unnecessary complexity, but on clean, correct systems that behave the way they should.

Core Features

• Full oblast coverage
All 27 Ukrainian oblast codes are included, using correct regional prefixes (AA, AE, BC, etc.). Vehicles will spawn with plates that match real-world distributions instead of random combinations.

• Multiple plate formats
Includes 9 additional plate types beyond the standard civilian format, allowing for more variation across traffic.

• Random plate system (2 modes)

• Standard Random: Generates plates using only valid Cyrillic-compatible letters (A, B, C, E, H, I, K, M, O, P, T, X), avoiding unrealistic characters like Q, W or Z.
• Realistic Random: Ensures the first two letters always correspond to a real Ukrainian oblast code.

• Special plates

• Transit / dealer plates
• Taxi plates (pre-2015 and post-2015 formats)

These help diversify traffic without breaking realism.

Design Philosophy

This mod is built around accuracy and restraint.

The goal is simple: when you look at traffic, nothing feels “off”.

Planned Features (Future Updates)

This is currently a beta release. Planned additions include:

• 1990s Ukrainian plates (numeric region codes)
• Police plates
• Diplomatic plates
• Military formats
• “Regional proximity” options (vehicles spawning with plates typical for nearby oblasts) (made for Agent's Traffic Mod)
• Additional minor variations and edge-case formats

Compatibility

• Lightweight definition-based mod
• Should work with most vehicles and maps
• May conflict with other license plate or traffic definition mods

Notes

This mod is intended for players who care about small details and realism.
If you are used to default/random plate systems, the difference may seem subtle at first, but over time it significantly improves immersion.

This is still in beta!!!!!!! There aren't that much variants (e.g Police) at the moment.
