The basic job

• Press “Go on call”. Job offers arrive on your phone and last 3 minutes.

• Accept, follow the route, and the customer’s car appears as you get close.

• Inspect it to find the problem, fix it or tow it, and you get rated and paid. Every job pays at least $150 more than the base.

• Problems: flat tire, double blowout, overheating radiator, dead battery, out of fuel, locked out, needs a tow, parts run, and pre-purchase inspection.

• Wrong fixes and arriving late cost stars.

• Some jobs spawn at your fixed West Coast spots, about half the time. The rest spawn on random roads.

Customers

• Random names, plus repeat customers who remember how you did.

• Named customers: ALT F4, Austin Shipman, Mr.dirty, shadegaming22 and portalwheel277.

• Customer types (friendly, big tipper, impatient and so on) change pay and patience. Urgency tiers unlock as your rating improves.

• After a good job, a customer may offer to sell you their car. You can accept, haggle, or walk away.

Parts and workshop

• Parts inventory in the Parts tab, with a starter supply. Repairs use parts, and customers refund 60% of the cost.

• “Set workshop here” makes that spot your parts store, your tow drop-off and where towed cars are fixed.

• Parts runs send you from the customer to the workshop and back.

• The low parts warning has been removed.

Rank and employees

• 50 levels, with a pay bonus that grows as you level.

• Employees unlock at level 5, then one more every 5 levels, up to 4.

  • Hiring costs $200,000 each, and a tow truck for them costs $100,000.

  • They earn passive income, and you can send one on a job offer instead of taking it yourself.

Advertising

• Flyers ($2,000), radio ($6,000) or a billboard ($15,000) give you more job offers, and more tow work, for a while.

Not yet confirmed in the game

• Fuel drain, the double blowout, the workshop tow delivery, buying a customer’s car, employee payouts, and the fixed spawn spots.
