This patch enhances the quality of slurry, manure, and digestate in the game by reducing the quantity utilized as fertilizer. In the basic game, it is always more financially advantageous to sell slurry, manure, and digestate and purchase liquid solid fertilizer, even in terrible economic times.
The quantity utilized is lowered by more than half, making it financially comparable to liquid or solid fertilizer on standard difficulty, but also simpler to apply since it needs fewer refills. On severe difficulty, it is preferable to utilize rather than sell. On low difficulty, it is still somewhat preferable to sell and use the simpler liquid and solid fertilizers.
