Lipp tower silos became widespread in southern Germany during the 1970s and 80s and are still a common sight today. Each silo is constructed on-site using Lipp's double-seam technology, with 400mm wide stainless steel strip spirally wound upwards and the seams folded. This unique manufacturing process allows for cost-effective and rapid assembly, as well as a long service life.
