you know what. i was pretty sarcastic about this mod. but after using it in single player. it does kinda of help if you are doing smaller lengths. or even long lengths. but mostly for the shorter ones. and yes in multiplayer its pretty useless as as soon as you trim and place this ruler. and make your first cut. blammo instant cant see the ruler anymore for the branches respawn. i hope the devs fix that buggy crap in multiplayer soon.

using this "tool" to plant trees or mark a path for you to follow is a much better use than to measure trees to cut. im sure any competent logger already has figured out a way to load and trim once for maximum profit. at least as a planting tool it works in multiplayer..;)

Not used it but I wonder, could it be useful for tree planting? If you like straight lines. I don' really mind but could be a handy alternative use.

this could be handy for those trees that cant be limbed with ponsse scorpion, like the big and heavy Ash.

well for some odd reason this chat system nuked half my comment. so ill edit it in here.... hard at weork and missed the fact that there are a dozen machines that do this very job and better they limb the tree and you dont have to drag the tree to the ruler. you just cut the tree and put in the truck and deliver why make many steps more?

um. yeah. youve obviously been hard at work making this complicated mod. and missed i think this mod is good for only singleplayer maps. as in multiplayer as the trees respawn the limbs as soon as you make a cut, and then again with every cut. and for beginners with no money to purchase the proper tools. overall i cant see myself using it but ill download it and test it. as thats what i do with EVERY mod that pops up.
