The Elmcreek 4x Western Dakota Edit is a Farming Simulator 22 mod that modifies the existing Elmcreek map. This modification quadruples the original size of the map, making it four times bigger than the base game's Elmcreek. This gives the player much more room to work with, allowing for larger farms, more varied terrain, and more diverse farming strategies.

The map is set in the Western Dakota region, which adds a unique American rural setting to the game. This can have implications on the types of farming and livestock that can be efficiently done in this region. The landscape itself is inspired by an American Midwest theme, featuring large fields, vast open spaces, and a few small towns. 

The Edit variant of this map adds more details to the original, like an expanded town area, a more complex road network, more sell points and variety in landscapes. It also refines some aspects of the original map, correcting any inaccuracies and improving performance. In essence, it is an enlarged, refined, and more detailed version of the original Elmcreek map, adapted specifically for the Western Dakota region.
