I wanted to make a bmw x3 mod but i've been wondering how to make a jbeam but not making nodes and beams, rather making those nodes and beams be the right size for the mesh.

For example if i have idk a mesh that is small and i make a jbeam trying to guess the right size i could easly be too big/small and i would be forced to edit the model to make it fit.

How do i fix that? How can i get the right proportions?
