Trying to do a realistic cold start, but car/truck starts up way too easily... (turning down the temperature didn't work either)

I am attempting to do a realistic cold start where the car is warming up/struggling to start, but the car/truck (or whatever vehicle) starts up way too easily. Is there a way where I can make the engine crank even longer or warm up during a cold start ? (Because whenever I try to make it cold start, it starts up way too easily). Please help me with this.
