Version: 1.0.0.1
This mod expands the capabilities of the in-game winch system by enabling it to connect and move anything other than trees. Anything with trailer-type attacher joints is supported, as are dynamic items such as bales and pallets.
This was developed in partnership with the Roughneck Modding Crew for their future range of winch-enabled modifications.
The cpu mesh flag is used to target either tension belt or collision-enabled forms. The mod contains a tiny "hard point" attachment form, which is automatically injected into several in-game vehicles at trailer attachment points.
These hard points may also be made and placed to any spot within a vehicle or object in 3D, allowing the winch to attach there as well. Additionally, these nodes may accept three user characteristics.
thWidth (float): The width or size of the item along the X-axis.
thLength (float): The length or size of the item along the Z-axis.
ThHeight (float): The height or size of the item along the Y axis.
Additionally, the attachment "ring" may be adjusted bigger or smaller using two binds. By default, these are set to right-shift + colon and right-shift + quote. By default, pressing right-shift + L allows you to modify the direction of the attachment ring.
That's it; it's pretty much a plug-and-play setup. The only modification necessary is to add extra attachment points to vehicles other than those currently pumped into the game.
