Headland management for tractors, field sprayers, mowers, and harvesters.
Headland management simplifies turning maneuvers during field operations by combining vehicle functions and activating them with a single button. All functionalities may be engaged and disabled separately for each vehicle using a GUI to ensure optimal adaptability to the job being performed.
Before usage, the vehicle must have headland management installed as a one- time setting at the shop or workshop. The cost is $3000.
It may be turned on and off in the car. Several buttons may also be programmed to activate and deactivate.
Functions include lowering and increasing speed, reactivating cruise control, and raising and lowering implements. Optionally, front implements may be raised before rear implements are raised.
- Turn the plow, single- stage or two- stage (from the center position).
- Raise and adjust track markings.
To change sides with crab steering enabled, turn off the PTO shaft(s) and hydraulics, then turn them on again.
- Headland mode warning tone
- Headland management on/off switch. This eliminates inadvertent activation during the transport to the work location and increases road safety.
- Automated headland management Headland mode is automatically activated when the headland is reached. After completing the 180° rotation, you may choose return to field mode.
- Can temporarily disable automated headland by pushing a button.
- Provides contour guidance. Automatically regulate along field boundaries or cultivated areas. Configurations may be saved and restored for each device type.
With the current EnhancedVehicle (FS25_EnhancedVehicle):
- Deactivate and restart GPS lane guiding; optionally, trigger the turning feature.
- Release and reset the active differential locks.
- Use EV headland detection if it is active.
Pre- assigned key combinations (changeable):
- Enable or disable headland management: (left) Shift + (left) Alt + X.
- Change operation mode (field mode or headland mode): (left) Shift + X opens the GUI for settings. (left) Shift + (left) Ctrl + X.
Other preset key combinations, not pre- assigned
- Temporarily deactivating/reactivating the headland automated function.
- Turning off the automated headland feature for the time being
- Reactivating the automated system
- Activation of field mode
- Enable the headland mode.
