The first Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 1250 was made in 1984, and the final heavy-duty U 1650 was produced in 2002. The Unimogs U 1250, U 1450, and U 1650 used 6-cylinder engines.

The Unimog has extra operational dashboard warning lights compared to other FS vehicles:

The Unimog's indication lights, which use plug-in bulbs, were designed specifically for it.

A front hydraulic system may be bought for $1,500 from the "Miscellaneous" shop category. It may be connected and removed at any moment using the attacher. Alternatively, the front hydraulics may be acquired as a configuration when purchasing the Unimog, and they can only be removed in the workshop. The separate front hydraulics have the benefit of being easy to connect and remove, but they will detach if you unintentionally push the attacher button while selecting the front hydraulic system by mistake.
A crane may be bought for $22,100 in the shop category "Miscellaneous," and it can only be mounted to the long Unimog U1X50. The crane features a hook on which large bags may be loaded. When the crane is installed, the Unimog may also lift the short body thru.
Timber tongs are available for $2,100 in the forestry department under "Miscellaneous". The wood tongs are built specifically for the Unimog crane (see above). If it is not feasible to couple the timber tongs to the crane, crank the crane's rotator once until the coupling symbol shows.
