Description
EscoEditor expands the Rockstar Editor with tools aimed at recording and setting up cinematic scenes. It gives you finer camera control, better keyframe handling, clip-specific time and weather settings, and a full lighting system.
Features
- Camera Controls: Free camera speed adjustable from 5% to 1000%. Vertical movement and look speed have separate controls. Includes Free Look to move around the scene without changing the saved keyframe position.
- Lighting System: Add point and spot lights positioned with a 3D gizmo. Supports keyframes for position, direction, color, intensity, range, falloff, cone, and volume. Lights can be attached to the Camera, Peds, Vehicles, or Props.
- Light Effects: Supports glow, anamorphic streaks, stars, ghosts, halos, color fringes, light leaks, and flicker, with several ready-made presets (Soft, Anamorphic, Star, Cinematic, Leak, Blue, and Dirty).
- Keyframes and Clips: Keyframe clipboard for copying, cutting, and pasting ranges of keyframes. Depth of Field settings can be applied to every keyframe. Time of day and weather can be set separately for each clip.
- Integration: Can be installed alongside Rockstar Editor Plus.
How to Use
- Open a clip in Rockstar Editor and select any marker. EscoEditor appears as the final row in its menu.
- Use left and right on the EscoEditor row to switch between Camera Speed, Copy and Paste, Time and Weather, and Lights.
- Press L while inside a clip to open the light editor.
- W switches to move, E to rotate, and R to scale.
- F and G decrease or increase camera speed.
- Press 0 to return the camera to normal speed.
- Hold Shift for 3x movement speed or Alt for quarter-speed movement while flying.
- Press K to toggle Free Look.
