The Hitman Mod (UPDATED) (RELOADED) for Grand Theft Auto 5 takes inspiration from the famous 'Hitman' video game series, enabling the player to take on the role of a professional assassination contract killer. This mod introduces various new gameplay elements into the world of GTA 5 that mimic the style of the Hitman series, while still maintaining the general open-world atmosphere of the original game.
The player can accept contracts to assassinate a variety of targets throughout the game world, encouraging strategic planning and stealth tactics. The contracts can vary greatly, ranging from killing specific NPCs to causing large scale destruction at specific locations. Payouts for the contracts can also vary, with higher payouts for harder targets.
The mod also includes a variety of unique Hitman weapons and gear, allowing the player to truly step into the shoes of the titular character. From silenced handguns to fiber wire for stealth kills, the array of tools at the player's disposal truly enhances the experience.
Additionally, a notoriety system is included in the mod. Acts such as leaving evidence or witnesses after a successful hit can increase the player's notoriety, leading to more attention from law enforcement and making future contracts harder to perform unnoticed.
Despite being a third-party addition to the game, the Hitman Mod (UPDATED) (RELOADED) offers a seamless integration within the world of GTA 5, offering a fresh perspective on the sandbox game and providing hours of fresh strategical gameplay.
How To Install
1) Download the file
2) Extract "HitmanReloaded.dll"; "iFruitAddon2.dll" and "Hitman.ini"
3) Place these 3 files inside a folder named "scripts" in your main GTA V directory.
3.5) If you have older versions of this mod, be sure to remove all the .cs files out of the "scripts" folder
4) Install ScriptHookVDotNet & ScriptHookV
4.5) If you are curious about the source code, the two files used to generate the .dll you are using are inside the src folder.
In order to modify these, you will need Visual Studio 2015 community (the minimum i can vouch for), and add the required iFruitAddon2, ScriptHookVDotNet2 and other windows relatives references to the project
5) Otherwise, you DON'T need the src folder to have the mod working. All you need are the three files mentioned in 2).
How To Use
Once in game, press the F10 key. Misssions should start soon
Replacing the key
The default shortcut key is "F10", in order to modify this, follow the "Changing mod settings" instructions.
Changing mod settings
1) Open "Hitman.ini" file
2) Edit one of the followings :
[Key Settings]
StartHitmanMode = F10 // Activate / Deactivate hitman mod
[Gameplay Settings]
MaxDistanceTargetAppearsFromPlayer = 600 // self explanatory, 600 == 600 meters
EnableMiddlemanPhoneContact = true // if you set this to false, you won't be able to see the Middleman as a phone contact, and you won't be able to activate CallMiddlemanBeforeEach. The mod will work as it used to before implementing the phone contact activation.
TimeBeforeNextTargetAppears = 12 // self explanatory, 12 is supposed to be the time in seconds. It depends on YourGeneralFpsInGame
YourGeneralFpsInGame = 60 // This is something you want to set up. If you happen to have a slow computer, and have low fps ingame, you should define a medium fps constant and set this to it.
CallMiddlemanBeforeEach = false // When this is set to true, you will have to call the middleman every time you want a new mission.
SpawnHitmanVehicle = false // El famoso vehicle, that you may or may not want to spawn when you hit the Start key.
