FallingTree

This mod changes how tree breaking works in Minecraft.

It adds different modes for cutting trees and more control over how logs fall and break.

– Instantaneous mode, break one log and the whole tree falls instantly
– Shift down mode, logs move down step by step while you cut
– Fall items mode, the whole tree falls with animation and drops items
– Fall blocks mode, the whole tree falls to the ground with animation

Configuration options:

– Define what counts as a tree (logs and leaves)
– Choose allowed tools for cutting trees
– Enable or disable leaf breaking
– Turn sneak toggle on or off to disable the mod effect
– Adjust fall speed based on tree size
– Enable or disable tool damage from tree cutting
– Keep tools at 1 durability before breaking

Requirements and notes:

– Fabric requires Fabric API
– NeoForge and Forge support Cloth Config API for in-game settings menu
– From Minecraft 1.21, enchantments need a separate datapack
– Server-side use is supported without client installation in most cases

Known incompatibility:

– VeinMiner, remove Wood group with /veinminer groups remove Wood
