Description
Hundred Years Warfare adds civilizations and brand-new gameplay systems to Minecraft. The mod currently focuses on entities, including different units and siege weapons, recruitment and command systems, and worker gameplay rebuilt from Ancient Warfare 2. Planned future additions include larger structures, settlement management, RPG mechanics, and more.
Features
- A wide variety of unit types and behaviours such as arcing shots, cavalry charges and siege weapons. There are also counter relationships for different unit types.
- Worker and workstation gameplay rebuilt from Ancient Warfare 2, supporting resource production, item transport, crafting, storage, and more.
- Several ways to command soldiers: RTS mode, a command wheel, and a command staff. RTS mode includes hotkeys, formations, and shift commands.
- A relationship system for managing relationships and team-based gameplay.
- Special compatibility and integration with other mods that only trigger when those mods are installed: Improved Combat, Epic Fight, Timeless and Classics Zero, Iron’s Spells ‘n Spellbooks, and Freecam.
Important:
- This mod is not a recreation of the English-French Hundred Years' War, but may contain inspired elements. Some content and settings are fictional.
- This is a PvE combat and adventure mod similar to Ancient Warfare 2, not a mod focused purely on RTS gameplay. Its goal is to add evolving NPC factions and structures with a major expansion of raid mechanics.
- For the full experience, set entity render distance to around 150%. The following optimization mods are recommended:
- Client-side optimization: Sodium for Fabric or Embeddium for Forge, EntityCulling, and Accelerated Rendering or ImmediatelyFast (use only one of the latter two).
- Server-side optimization: Lithium for Fabric or Radium for Forge.
- Tip: If you use shaders, disabling entity shadow rendering can improve performance significantly.
