Description
Planting Dirt for Saplings is a mod that adds a special dirt-like block designed to automate planting saplings and crops.
The block works similarly to a dispenser and contains a GUI with nine slots for storing saplings. When a neighboring block updates while the GUI is closed, it attempts to plant a sapling directly above itself.

Features
- Automatically replants saplings after trees are harvested
- Keeps trees growing in the same location
- Grass cannot spread onto the planting block, making it easy to identify
- Will not plant if a non-replaceable block is occupying the space above

For example, breaking a log directly above the block triggers an update and causes a new sapling to be planted almost immediately.

Planting Modes
Using a hoe on the block switches between triggered and non-triggered modes.
In triggered mode, the block can also plant crops such as:
- Wheat seeds
- Carrots
- Potatoes
- Other supported plantable items

Combined with dispensers containing water buckets and a timer circuit, the block can be used to build fully automated farms.
