The name itself makes it clear that this mod generates biomes in Minecraft. Once installed, you’ll have access to an enormous number of new, fascinating biomes to explore — over 70 in total.

These biomes will appear in the Overworld, Nether, and End dimensions. All of them are incredibly vibrant and beautiful. As you explore, you’ll dive into a true adventure! Expect to find many new items, mobs, plants, and much more.

But new biomes aren’t the only thing this mod adds. In these biomes, you’ll also find new ores and blocks, plants and trees, flowers, and many other resources.

In terms of visual style, the new worlds are incredibly diverse — from bright and welcoming, like snowy biomes or lovely birch forests, to dark and eerie, like scorched forests, swamps, dead lands, and more.

This mod is rightly considered one of the best for adding new worlds and biomes to the game. Just note that the number of biomes generated by the mod will depend on the Minecraft version you download it for.

To activate the mod, select the Biomes O' Plenty option when creating a new world!

The mod is available for all popular game versions. It requires Fabric, Forge, or NeoForge, depending on the version you’re downloading.

For version 1.18.1 and above, you’ll need to install TerraBlender. For versions 1.20.1, 1.20.4+, GlitchCore is required.

Installation is simple — copy the downloaded file into the ./minecraft/mods folder.
