The Betweenlands mod introduces a new dimension to Minecraft, filled only with swamps and secrets! This place is incredibly dark and gloomy, surrounded by endless marshes. It might seem empty at first because there’s nothing but the breathing swamp sounds. However, this biome is teeming with mystical creatures and monsters.

All around, you’ll see only decaying swampland. Darkness never leaves this realm. There is no day or night. Don’t even try to use any tools to guide you or help you escape. You can’t even light a fire with a lighter here. Maps will be useless, and redstone will have no power.

Beware: the swamps are crawling with all sorts of mystical creatures. At first, it might seem empty, but as soon as you let your guard down, they’ll take advantage of it. Some creatures are friendly, but others will attack the moment they see you. So, always be on alert here.

Darkness, darkness, and more darkness.

How to Enter the Betweenlands?

To access this dimension, you need to create a portal. It's simpler than it might seem at first glance.

First, gather four talisman pieces by defeating Dark Druids. Once you have these pieces, find a Dark Druid Altar. Place the talisman pieces on the altar. This will grant you a staff. Now, prepare a large flat area to place the portal. Plant a tree sapling in this area, and use the staff on the sapling to transform it into a portal tree. Do this by holding the staff and right-clicking near the sapling.

Now you're ready! You can enter the swamp dimension by using the portal tree.
