Description
Lithoform is a complete world generation overhaul for Minecraft 1.20.1, designed to create terrain that feels larger, more natural and more connected. Instead of isolated mountains and randomly placed biomes, the mod generates proper mountain ranges, winding rivers, huge cave systems and climate regions that gradually change as you travel across the world.
Features
- World Generation: The world is divided into five major climate belts ranging from frozen to hot, making long-distance exploration feel more meaningful.
- 61 Biomes: Includes biomes inspired by distinctive natural formations such as Pamukkale-style travertine terraces, Cappadocia-inspired fairy chimneys, The Giant's Causeway, and Caño Cristales-inspired rainbow rivers.
- Underground Generation: Regional generation system featuring cave provinces, geode caves, sinter caves, rime caves, massive Son Doong-sized caverns, and dolines.
- Server Friendly: Introduces no new blocks, allowing players to connect to a server without installing the mod client-side.
- Performance: The density function tree is memoised to keep world generation and loading performance under control.
