Description
CliffTree is a world generation mod that expands the Overworld with new biomes and updates existing ones while keeping a vanilla-style feel. It adds more variety to exploration without changing the core gameplay direction. The name comes from the ending theme of Adventure Time.
Features
- New biomes and variations: From hot Shrublands to cold Bogs, the mod adds a range of new environments. You can explore locations like Oasis and Tundra, along with updated versions of familiar biomes such as Snowy Old Growth Taiga and Sparse Forests
- Updated rivers, water colors, and deeper oceans: Water visuals are reworked across most biomes. Rivers now match their surroundings, and oceans are deeper. Underwater blocks like sand, clay, and gravel are distributed in smoother, more natural gradients
- Cave biomes: Surface biomes no longer extend underground. They are replaced with dedicated cave biomes, including standard caves and more distinct ones like Frozen Caves, Warm Caves filled with terracotta, and lava-heavy Inferno zones
- Improvements to existing biomes: Many biomes receive small but noticeable updates, including adjusted distribution, added details like fallen logs, more exposed stone on cliffs, terracotta on Savanna Plateaus, and wider beaches inspired by earlier Minecraft versions
- New tree shapes and foliage rules: Grass and flowers can now grow on sand and snow. Some trees, such as Birch and Small Jungle, have updated models. Saplings follow new growth rules, with certain types able to grow on sand or snow, and specific blocks allowing rare trees like Jungle Bushes and Swamp Oaks
