Description
Infernal Expansion Redux is a complete rebuild of the original Infernal Expansion mod. It is currently in development and is being created by a different team, with new and changed content planned alongside returning features.

Glowstone Canyon
The Glowstone Canyon returns as a Nether biome filled with glowing terrain, unusual plants, and new creatures.
- Large Glowstone stalagmites and stalactites
- Shimmer Sand covering parts of the biome
- Hidden pits covered by falling Glimmer Gravel
- Luminous Fungus that begins glowing when approached
- Dullthorns scattered throughout the canyon
- Touching Luminous Fungus or Dullthorns applies the Luminous effect
- Luminous causes the affected entity to emit light while also attracting certain creatures
Glowsquito
The Glowsquito is a large mosquito-like creature resembling a firefly. It feeds on nearby sources of light and changes the blocks it drains.
- Drains Glowstone and turns it into Dimstone
- Drains Dimstone and turns it into Dullstone
- Drains Shroomlight and turns it into Hollowlight
- Normally behaves as a neutral creature
- Becomes hostile toward entities affected by Luminous
- Can attack in groups when attracted by the effect
- Drops Glowcoke when killed
- Glowcoke is compressed Glowdust collected inside the creature
- Glowcoke can be used to create Glowlight versions of regular lighting items
Blindsight
The Blindsight is a strange frog-like clam that hunts Glowsquitos.
- Swallows Glowsquitos whole
- Uses its tongue to knock targets away
- Normally treats Glowsquitos as prey
- Can mistake players affected by Luminous for a Glowsquito
- Becomes more aggressive when attracted by the Luminous effect
- Drops an edible tongue when defeated
- The tongue can be used as an ingredient for a special stew
